I found this place through Google trying to find a place where locals have their lunch. And the food did not disappoint. After having my first meal here I came back again the next day to try something different. If I could only rate a food it's delicious, great portions, tasty like home cooked meal ,like a hug , great place Compare to all the tourist places around the city. But I must say that few things disappointed me as I am chef myself and work in hospitality for many years and I can see the service they provide.it's how they treat tourists so differently from the locals. Every table that had locals eating(both times) had bread offered straight away, olive oil,carafe of water as well. I was super happy with my food options no complaints here,because it was so tasty but for the tourists they don't hang out daily specials menu.Which is so sad. I saw a whole grilled seabream going to the table so I asked a waiter if I could order the whole fish instead of the fillet which was on the main menu for more money. Cos I was never offered a specials menu. Staff seems okay, not very happy to see foreigners coming in and definitely why more friendly with local people. Food was amazing both lunches that I had ,but have in mind that you mind be treated a bit differently if you're a tourist. Grilled fish was superb, loved it.
The food was amazing. Feels like home made authentic Croatian dishes. The 4 rating is because from outside there is no sign and you feel the place is not welcoming. May be it is also because the staff is not comfortable speaking English and is impatient. But the food and decoration is a definite 5 rating
This is a traditional and authentic Croatian restaurant with traditional dishes. So I obviously had to go with the Pasticada, a traditional Dalmatian dish. It's marinated and slowly stewed beef with gnocchi. It was nice and tender with lovely flavours. It was a big serving size and good value compared to the same dish at other restaurants within proximity to the city centre. I'd definitely recommend.
Was looking for traditional Croatian cuisine. I was guided here by a hotel staff. Take a look at the pictures. The stuff Burger was an interesting find. The slow cook braised beef dish was also very good. The decor is rustic. This place is popular the Saturday that I attended around 3:00 in the afternoon local time and more people were came in.
I had an amazing dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The highlight of the meal was definitely the tagliatelle with salmon — perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, creamy sauce and tender pieces of salmon. It was truly exceptional! The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

Great place to have a nice food. I had tuna steak and it was great. One person from our party had a Beef Steak, and he was very satisfied. It was 300 grams. So more than in the other places. Fish soup was also very, very delicious. A person eating octopus salad was also satisfied. Price was surprisingly affordable for all that we ate.
WOW! From the outside, a very unassuming entrance but once inside you are welcomed into a beautifully rustic interior. The food was absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny! I had the black risotto with cuttlefish and the traditional pasticada, both absolutely delicious. I did not realise how big the portion sizes would be! Staff are friendly and it was easy to see why the place was packed/all tables occupied for the ~2 hours I was there. They accept cash and card. A place very worthy of its glowing Google reviews
